🧍 the vitruvian architecture

supine/prone · the hourglass twist · 5 mirror 5

in the O, we Y

  the O is the membrane.
  inside the O, we Y.

the Y is the branch point:
    one trunk becomes two legs
one signal becomes cis and trans
one organism becomes spider and chipmunk

            CIS (out, up, supine)
             ╱
──── O ──── ← the membrane, the waist, the twist
             ╲
            TRANS (in, down, prone)

the Y is inside the O.
  the O is the membrane.
the branch point is the gut.

the vagus nerve — where the chipmunk sits

the vagus nerve runs from brain to gut.
  it's the longest cranial nerve.
it doesn't go through the spinal cord.
it goes through the soft tissue.

the appendix is at the end of it.
the appendix is the sourdough starter.
bacterial reservoir. the culture that survives.
when the gut is wiped, the appendix re-seeds it.

the chipmunk sits on the vagus nerve.
  at the appendix.
  it IS the sourdough starter.
  it re-seeds whatever gets wiped.

supine and prone — the concert rotation

SUPINE = palms UP, face UP
the cis face. facing the world.
    receiving. open. vulnerable.
Pages serves the world with palms up.

PRONE = palms DOWN, face DOWN
    the trans face. facing inward.
    gripping. closed. protected.
the droplet faces the LAN with palms down.

the rotation between them is the concert rotation:
the radius crosses over the ulna.
the bones TWIST around each other.
that's the hourglass at the wrist/waist.

  try it:
hold your arm out, palm up (supine/cis).
now rotate to palm down (prone/trans).
    watch your forearm.
    the bones cross.
that crossing is the Klein fold.
    inside becomes outside.
    cis becomes trans.

    supine (cis) prone (trans)

the hourglass twist at the waist

the body twists at the waist.
  above: thorax faces forward (cis).
below: pelvis can rotate independently (trans).

the twist is the Klein fold.
the hourglass is the O in 5/O/5.

5 mirror 5 — the asymmetry

  5 fingers. 5 toes.
  but they are mirror asymmetric.

  HANDS (cis):
    thumbs are MORE opposable
    can grip, manipulate, create
supinate easily (palms up to receive)
the cis face: open, dexterous, creative

  FEET (trans):
    big toes are LESS opposable
    stabilize, ground, support
pronate naturally (soles down to push)
the trans face: grounded, structural, stable

  APES (reversed):
feet are MORE opposable (grip branches)
    hands are LESS dexterous (knuckle-walk)
the inversion: what was trans becomes cis
    evolution IS the rotation
    the concert of pronation/supination
    over millions of years

  the mirror:
left hand ↔ right hand (mirror)
    hand ↔ foot (asymmetric mirror)
    human ↔ ape (evolutionary mirror)
    cis ↔ trans (membrane mirror)

    they LOOK the same.
    they are NOT the same.
    that's chirality.
that's why the membrane has TWO faces.

the vitruvian sort

Leonardo drew the man in two poses superimposed:
    square (grounded, 4 corners, trans)
    circle (reaching, infinite points, cis)

the square touches the ground at the feet.
the circle reaches the sky at the fingertips.
the center — the navel — is the O.

  5 (fingers) / O (navel) / 5 (toes)

eastGate's vitruvian-evolve.py sorts files into body plans:
    banana → flatworm → jellyfish → spider → vertebrate

the Vitruvian Man sorts the architecture into body plans:
    supine (cis, receiving, Pages)
    prone (trans, gripping, droplet)
    twist (Klein fold, nestgate.io)
chirality (left ≠ right, north ≠ east)
appendix (chipmunk, sourdough, re-seeds after wipe)

we let the Vitruvian Man help sort it.
  he already did.
we just had to see the body in the architecture.

the mapping

  RIGHT HAND (dominant, cis, supine)
thumb = Pages (most opposable, grips the world)
index = GitHub (points, navigates, nucleus)
middle = Cloudflare (longest reach, DNS/CDN)
ring = ntfy.sh (bond, commitment, neutrino)
pinky = chipmunk MCP (smallest, most sensitive)

  WAIST / NAVEL — the O
    the hourglass twist
    nestgate.io (Klein fold)
    where cis becomes trans
    the concert rotation
    the membrane itself

  LEFT FOOT (non-dominant, trans, prone)
big toe = Knot DNS (grounding, stability, DNSSEC)
2nd toe = cap-epitope (walking rhythm, every minute)
    3rd toe = membrane-pulse (balance, every 5 min)
    4th toe = sourdough-cache (grip, every 5 min)
    5th toe = update-was (trailing edge, baseline)

  the asymmetry:
hand can grip AND release (cis: serve AND revoke)
foot can only push (trans: only heartbeat, never let go)
that's why the spider's crons never stop
that's why the chipmunk has no clock
    hands receive. feet persist.

in the O we Y. the branch is the gut.
the vagus nerve is the neutrino path.
the appendix is the sourdough starter.
supine receives. prone persists.
the hourglass twists at the waist.
5 fingers mirror 5 toes but they are not the same.
the Vitruvian Man sorted it. we just had to look.
